Scripture Text: Malachi 3:1-5
I, the Lord All-Powerful, will send my messenger to prepare the way for me. Then suddenly the Lord you are looking for will appear in his temple. The messenger you desire is coming with my promise, and he is on his way.

The All-Powerful Lord who spoke to prophet Malachi and prophet Isaiah is also the same Lord who sent John the Baptist—the promised messenger who prepared the way of the Messiah, Savior, King of all kings and Lord of all lords in the person of God-Jesus. But our Lord was rejected by the world. Only the chosen people and true believers/true church recognized and accepted the Lordship of Christ Jesus.
The message of salvation from the time of prophet Isaiah, Malachi, John the Baptist, and even up to now are the same. God wants all people to repent from their sins and make their life path straight to Jesus.
Every Christian with genuine faith has an opportunity and privilege to be a messenger of God-Jesus and we are obliged to share and proclaim His Gospel to the world. That is why we need to engage and respond to this calling because every soul for Jesus is precious.
A day of change for everyone is very important whether with or without pandemic, because nobody knows when Jesus is coming back—maybe today, tomorrow, or a few minutes from now.
The best thing that we can do is to obey His will and to be the messenger of the Gospel.
Reflect
1. How serious are you to do the function of being a messenger of Jesus in proclaiming the Gospel?
2. To Jesus, every soul is very precious, how about you?
3. How about our family members, friends, officemates and all the rest: Are their salvation important to you? If yes, be a messenger of God through His Gospel.
Remember
Whether we like it or not, Jesus will come again to judge all people—
* To those who have Christ, welcome to paradise (heaven).
* To those who are not yet saved, Jesus is still waiting. Don't ignore it, the time is now!

Dear God, I know every soul is very important to our Lord Jesus and Your desire is to save all souls. Thank You for giving me the opportunity and privilege to be a messenger of the Gospel and the Word. I ask Your wisdom and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to do this calling urgently and seriously. I ask this in the most mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
